Pre-printed film gives your pouch a professional look, but only if the print stays aligned with the cut. Print mark registration and film tension control are the two systems that make that happen, and Link Machinery has tuned them over 30 years of manufacturing experience.
A sensor reads a small registration mark printed on the film, and the controller adjusts the film feed on every cycle. The cut line stays inside the printed design even as the roll diameter changes.
When a new roll is spliced on, the machine detects the splice and skips it automatically, so no misprinted pouch reaches the customer.
Operators teach the machine the mark position and cut length from the HMI in a few minutes. A library stores the settings for each film design, so changeover is instant.
